Choosing the Future Consultation Analysis
The consultation exercise began in July 2004. The aim of our consultation document was both to summarise the information and views that had been considered up to that point, and to ask a series of questions to elicit further evidence and views. Almost 200 responses were received. These were of great assistance: not only did they provide us with information from a variety of sources, but they also brought to our attention many well-reasoned arguments in favour of a range of positions. These responses have been analysed, and the resulting report is available on this page.
