HGC responds to HFEA consultation

The HGC has responded to the HFEA consultation on the ethical and social implications of creating human/animal embryos in research and a full copy of the response is available here.
In its February 2007 Plenary, the HGC discussed the HFEA's planned public consultation and issued a web statement. The press release from this meeting is available here.
Subsequently in April 2007, the HFEA released its public consultation document and sought views from interested parties. Details of this consultation process can be found at: http://www.hfea.gov.uk/en/1517.html.
